You’ll be fishing on a Custom 27’ Judge Yachts Center Console built locally on the Eastern Shore in Denton, MD in 2020. This fishing machine is powered by a 350 HP Suzuki engine, modern navigational electronics, clear canvas enclosure with wings, a cobia tower w/ full controls, a live bait tank, and a cooler. A 30 knot (33.5mph) cruise and a 40 knot (45mph) top speed will get you to the fish fast and in comfort. The boat is specifically designed to fish the local waters on the Chesapeake. It can handle the seas of the open bay but also access shallow, hard to reach areas of the Eastern Shore and beyond. The outboard motor is on hydraulically powered bracket called a porta bracket made by Porta Products. The significance of the bracket is the engine can be raised rather than tilted to make the boat even more capable of traversing the shallows. The boat and is kept in top-notch condition at all times.
